Rivendell/Grants Available

East Dorset Mencap offers a £500 grant for eligible applicants to be used for Short Term Respite. You must be a member of East Dorset Mencap to be able to apply, this is a one off fee of £5, which can be applied for by clicking here

Once your request is received the East Dorset Mencap Committee will discuss your application at their next Bi-monthly Committee Meeting. You will then be informed in writing of the outcome.

Terms and conditions apply, including the following,

     • The maximum amount that can be requested is £500.00.

     • Only 1 grant of £500 will be given in a 3 year period.

     • It is a requirement that East Dorset Mencap pay the supplier directly.

     • Each request will be taken to the next available committee meeting and a decision is

        usually made during that meeting unless clarification is required.
