Poppets

Poppets is a Saturday club for children aged 4-14 who have a learning disability. The club runs from 10am-12noon on alternate Saturday mornings and is held at Tops Day Nursery at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Club entry costs £1. There are a variety of activities on offer including arts and crafts, puzzles, games, indoor soft play and outdoor play.

We have a number of volunteer helpers who supervise and assist the children in their chosen activities, encouraging them to socialize with each other and have fun. They are Simon, James, Marie, Peter, Rebecca and Rachel. If you are interested in becoming a helper at Poppets and are able to commit two hours every other Saturday morning then please contact Carmela.

Donating items - We are very grateful for any donations of toys, books, musical instruments etc. If you have any items you would like to donate then please contact Carmela.
